Phi Sigma Pi is a national honor fraternity, and we are their national philanthropy. They are sponsoring an essay contest that is just for our students on why education is important. Winners will have their essays published online and in their print magazine and will also receive a $500 savings bond (first place) or $200 savings bond (second place). The contest is open to students in grades 1-12 and there will be a first and second place winner chosen from grades 1-4, grades 5-8, and grades 9-12. I'm looking forward to having many students from New York City win this contest!
